John Surtees, OBE remains the only person ever to win World Championships on both two and four wheels, scoring four 500-cc World Motorcycle Championships between 1956 and 1960 as well as claiming the Formula One World Championship in 1964. He also won the inaugural title of the fabled Canadian-American Challenge Cup series in 1966.
Beyond his exploits as a rider/driver, Surtees is also dedicated to bringing young people into motorcycle racing and is a driving force behind a fleet of air ambulances.
