Organizers of the Shell Historic Challenge have announced that the series for historic Ferrari and Maserati sports cars will host a 45-minute support race before the start of this year’s 24-Hours of Le Mans.
Challenge organizers Sylviane and Patrick Peter are looking for up to 61 historic Ferraris and Maseratis to make up the grid for this event. In particular, they are eager to include as many previous Le Mans winners as possible.
In addition to the June 15-17 round at Le Mans, the Shell Challenge will hold races at Spa (April 29 – May 1), Hockenheim (Sept 29 – Oct 1) and Vallelunga (October 28-29). For more information on the Shell Historic Challenge call 0033 1 4259 7340 or FAX 0033 1 4259 4828.
