Pebble Beach Auctions Presented by Gooding & Company has announced the consignment of a legendary 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Series V Gran Sport (above), a Zagato-bodied Spider that has had the same owner since 1966. Following its restoration by marque specialist Clay Cook, this Alfa won First in Class at the 1996 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and followed it up with Best of Show honors at the 1997 Louis Vuitton Classic at Rockefeller Center.
