The “2nd Alfa Romeo Festival”, organized by the Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo with the support of FCA Heritage, is scheduled to be held on Sunday September 29 at The “Riccardo Paletti” Circuit (Varano de’ Melegari), near Parma, Italy. Dedicated exclusively to Alfa Romeo, the event will see a huge gathering of road and racing Alfa Romeos, both vintage and moderns.
In addition to the fifth round of the Alfa Revival Cup for cars built between 1947 and 1981, there will also be a new “Alfa Young Timer” race for cars built after January 1, 1982. This new race will now include such models as the Duetto, Alfetta, Alfasud, GTV, 33, 75, 145, 146, 147, 155, 156, 164, and more. The race format includes 20 minutes of qualifications and two races of 20 minutes, plus one lap. The race is open to one or two drivers for each car. To take part the cars must comply with the ACI Sport safety technical regulations. For foreign entrants, no other vehicle documents are required. On Saturday 28th several free practice sessions will be available for the drivers to test cars and track.
