The Mecum Houston 2015 sale was held April 9-11 at the NRG Park (formerly Reliant Center) in Houston, Texas, resulting in $25,285,163 in total sales and a 70 percent sell-through rate. A told of 645 vehicles sold at Mecum’s fourth annual Houston auction.

The top 10 sales in at Mecum’s 2015 Houston included a mix of pre-war classics, muscle cars from the Golden Era, among others.The top result was a modified 1932 Duesenberg Model J Phaeton (Lot S92.1) that sold for $500,000, followed by a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird (Lot S105) that made $480,000. In addition to those, a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition (Lot S115.1) with a mere 13 miles on the odometer hammered at $475,000 and a 1906 Packard S Touring (Lot S108.1), one of three known to exist, brought $300,000.

Further notable results included a pair of 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastbacks (Lots S93 and S138) that jumped into the top 10 selling for $262,500 and $200,000, respectively, and a highly optioned 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster (Lot S102) with 20,790 miles that came in at $225,000.
