The McCall Motorworks Revival 2011 was held Wednesday, August 17th at the Monterey Jet Center in Monterey, California.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2011, Gordon McCall’s one-night Motorworks Revival event and charitable fundraiser featured classic cars and planes mixed in with the latest offerings from top luxury brands in an elegant party setting.
Event founder Gordon McCall his wife, Molly, first held the Motorworks Revival–also known as the Jet Center Party–in 1992. “Each year, we build the event from the ground up starting with our guest list and every year I am astounded to meet people from all over the world who have heard of the event and would like to be a part of it. There’s a lot to do and see on the Monterey Peninsula over the week in August and we love being a part of the exciting energy,” said McCall
While the initial goal of the McCall Motorworks Revival was to feature rare vehicles, McCall expanded the event to also be a showplace for modern automobiles, motorcycles and private jets, in addition to luxury goods and fine cuisine. Brands on display at McCall Motorworks Revival 2011 included Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Pagani and Porsche, plus corporate aircraft from Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream, Piaggio and Pilatus.
Charity is a major focus of the McCall Motorworks event, with the California Highway Patrol’s 11-99 Foundation as the beneficiary of Gordon’s year-long campaigning and vision for the annual bash. Annually, the generosity of this group has resulted in a six-figure total for the California Highway Patrol 11-99 charity.
