Masters Historic Racing, one of Europe’s leading organizers and promoters of historic motor racing, has announced it will organize a demonstration of 10 historic Formula One cars on behalf of Suzuka Circuit as part of the Richard Mille Sound of Engine event, taking place at the Japanese venue over the weekend of November 18-19, 2017. The cars will all run in period color schemes, and will enjoy plenty of track time during the weekend.
Masters will be selecting 10 cars for the event, which should illustrate different cars from the era between 1966 and 1985. Interest is sought from Masters drivers in the U.S. and Europe who are interested in being part of this event, with priority being given to drivers who regularly support Masters. There will be a full transport and travel package available to those selected.
The highlight of the weekend will be a pseudo-qualifying session with the cars running one at a time in a Time Attack format on the Saturday afternoon before two more 20-minute practice sessions. Sunday’s activities will climax with a 40-minute demonstration race beginning from a rolling start.
