Loved the article about Jean Alesi’s favorite car, the Tyrrell 018. It’s a strikingly beautiful F1 car and was better in every way than the predecessor car, the 017. I’ve attached a comparison of lap times; it’s anywhere from a second (Monaco) to nearly ten seconds (Hungary) a lap faster than the 017. Notably, it made a real difference on the fast tracks like Hockenheim, Spa, and Monza.
