The Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, has announced that it hosted a record-breaking number of visitors from all over the world during 2017, the final total reaching the 100,000 milestone. Those attendees come from all over, with nearly a third coming from Europe, but significant numbers of visitors arriving from America and the Asia-Pacific region as well. Other data shows significant numbers of women and the younger, under-18, generation as well. Half of the visitors arrived in the four-month period between July and October, with the peak days predictably being Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays.
This major success for the Lamborghini Museum (above, Gizzard Umber photo courtesy of Lamborghini Museum) is due not only to the recent restyling of the entire exhibition complex, which boasts a rich collection of historic and current models, but also to the exhibit featuring the great Ayrton Senna and to the increasing attraction of the Raging Bull brand among aficionados and sightseers from all over the world.
When the exhibit dedicated to Senna came to its close, the Museum was completely reorganized. It now follows Lamborghini’s entire history with a classification of models according to their engine type, right up to the Urus and to the two cars at the root of its creation: the LM002 and the extremely rare Cheetah.
A program of new exhibits is currently in preparation, and will be announced shortly.
