The dates for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed have been set for the weekend of July 7–9. The theme for the 2006 event will be “Racing for Glory—a Century of Grands Prix,” which will celebrate 100 years of Grand Prix racing history. Other themes for this year’s event will include the 100-year anniversary of the Targa Florio, as well as the 40th anniversaries of both the Can-Am and the Trans-Am.
These historic milestones will be honored by a broad selection of racing machinery that will include everything from Renault’s 1906 race winner to their 2005 championship winner.
