[dropcap]F[/dropcap]rank Kurtis built racecars. He built many of the cars entered in the Indy 500 from the 1940s into the 1960s. Kurtis either built or influenced the design of every Indy 500 winner from 1950 to 1964. He was an incredible racecar builder, but he also built some very quick, interesting sports cars.
