During the J.C.C. International Trophy race at Brooklands, U.K., on May 6, 1939, Kenneth Evans is shown at full speed in his Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 Grand Prix car, leaving a great wall of spray behind him. He would finish 4th, one lap down to Prince Bira’s winning Maserati 8CM, not at all bad for a then five-year-old racing car. This car (chassis 50005) is now part of the collection of a well known American collector in Washington state.
