Listing Description

For Sale: 1976 Porsche 911S Built as RSR tribute track car.

Well developed, well built, turn key car. Has NASA and PCA logbooks, dating back to 2002. Has run in SCCA and vintage as well. Original owners manual in sleeve is included, as are binders full of receipts and setup info for different tracks. Car is titled, so could be made street legal without too much effort.

The driveline is fresh. The engine was built by Franz Blaum Racing in 2017 and freshened in mid 2021. Has around 20 hours on it. It is a 3.0L with JE forged pistons, 10.5:1 compression, twin plug heads that are run by MSD boxes and a Patrick Racing 12 plug electronic distributor ($4250 spent on ignition). Cams are RSR Sprint cams from Web Cam. Has 46mm PMO carburetors and European racing headers. Two exhaust setups – one with mufflers for quieter tracks, and straight pipe adapters with megaphones for ones that allow more noise. Also has a center outlet exhaust tip. It has a larger center mount RSR style oil cooler, and finned brass oil hardline for even more cooling capacity. Has no problems with oil temp even running in 100 degree weather enduros. Made over 230hp at the wheels on recent dyno session before final jetting was tuned in so should be good amount more than that.

Transmission has only one weekend on it. Was rebuilt by Bill Rader Motorsports in 2021 (about $9500) It runs a factory limited slip differential, lightweight flywheel and aluminum clutch. WEVO shifter. 17 gallon ATL fuel cell. Custom built (Robinson Racing) 6 point roll cage with large attachment point plates, and custom integrated seat mounts – cost $5000. OMP drivers seat good through 2022, Momo passenger seat is expired. Belts good through 2026. Has cool suit setup included.

Brakes are 996 Twin Turbo, which necessitated larger wheels. Wheels are custom built Lindsey Racing 17 x 9 & 11 built from 16×6 Fuchs centers. The master cylinder was upgraded to a larger 23mm unit as well to match the larger calipers
Bodywork is mostly fiberglass from GT Racing. Front fenders, doors, bumpers, rear flares and rear decklid are all fiberglass. Windshield is glass, but quarter and rear windows are plexiglass. Bodywork and paint are OK – great for a track car, but not as nice as one would want for a street car. That’s ideal for when you are getting rock chips or trailer/parking lot wear or some track contact, etc. Would be easy to bring up to a street standard. No evidence of any crash damage/repair ever. Pics of inner wells and underneath.

Suspension has bump steer kit and everything from Elephant racing – adjustable spring plates, Monoball camber plates, polybronze bushings, etc. Because of the camber plates, the Weltmeister stress bar was custom mounted to plates welded to the towers – significantly stiffening the towers as well. Sway bars are 32mm Jerry Woods/Smart Racing front and 22mm Weltmeister rear. Torsion bars are 22mm solid front and 30mm solid rear.

This is a turn key, fast race car that is ready to use. No setup, other than jetting, (depending on elevation) would be needed. Would be impossible to buy and build this car for anywhere NEAR this price. Happy to take more photos and videos for interested parties.
