• The only existing Australian-made prototype of the original Holden FX sold for $600,000 at Theodore Bruce’s Motorclassica auction. A record price that is believed to be the highest amount paid for a Holden in Australia. Hand built, in Australia, in 1947, this fourth prototype of the first 48-215 Holden, commonly known as the FX, was part of the famous Peter Briggs collection since 1980.
