The Carmel Concours on the Avenue 2015 will be held Tuesday, August 11th on the downtown streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
A kick-off event of the Monterey Classic Car Week, the ninth annual Carmel-By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue will see more than 200 vehicles vying for first and second in class plus 14 major awards and, of course, Best of Show. Similar to prior years, the 2015 event will present multi-marques from 1940 to 1973, in addition to Porsche and Ferrari from the beginning through 1989.
The official mission statement for the always fun Carmel-By-The-Sea Concours On The Avenue continues to be: Sophistication with a dash of fun, where Authenticity, Originality and Preservation matter, all in a welcoming atmosphere.
Carmel-By-The-Sea’s Ocean Avenue will be closed to traffic and sixteen blocks of downtown will be filled with collector cars and related motorized items. As always, an interesting mix of domestic and foreign cars will be presented in front of Carmel’s charming shops, galleries and restaurants.
Carmel Concours on the Avenue 2015 is open to the public for viewing from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11th. For more information, visit CarmelConcours.com.
