For the third year, Vintage Racecar magazine has supported the British Women Racing Drivers Club by offering awards and trophies to those who excel in three disciplines of motorsport, Racing, Speed Events and Rallying. From the winners of those three categories (above) a Champion of Champions is selected. At the conclusion of the 2015 season all results were calculated and the three section winners are as follows:
Racing Champion – Lisa Selby – Competed in nine races with her 1998 Ford Puma, taking five class wins from an average of three competitors in her class.
Speed Champion – Elen Worthington – Competed in nine sprints at the wheel of a 1998 Lotus Elise, resulting in six class wins from an average of five competitors in her class.
Rally Champion – Seren Whyte – Driving her 1964 Triumph TR4, an Alfa Romeo Guilietta Spider and an Austin 7, Seren competed in 10 rallies with one class win and four second-place finishes from an average of eight competitors in her class.

Lifetime Achievement – Lorina McLaughlin
This year Vintage Racecar also decided to present a Lifetime Achievement Award. This additional trophy was awarded to Lorina McLaughlin, who has been involved in motorsport for many years, competing in everything from Formula Ford to Formula One. She has won many awards and trophies and been elected to the British Racing Drivers’ Club — one of only a handful of women to hold such membership. Today, Lorina works tirelessly in keeping Formula One cars “on track” by organizing demonstration events for F1 cars from the three-liter DFV years through the turbo era to the present day via the FORCE organization set up by her husband David McLaughlin.
“While this trophy is just a very small token,” said VR European Editor Mike Jiggle, “it is a truly well-deserved accolade, and goes some way toward acknowledging the continued effort and enthusiasm Lorina has for motorsport — especially for Formula One and, of course, for women in motorsport. For this, Vintage Racecar is proud to bestow this Lifetime Achievement Award to Lorina McLaughlin.”
