The Ontario-based Burlwood Motorsports Club has released its 2017 Calendar of Events, listing four confirmed outings and a fifth yet to be determined. That last will be first, as despite a successful debut last year, the Brack Classic Hillclimb at Inglis Falls remains a tentative listing on the 2017 schedule with a July date yet to be confirmed.
On the weekend of August 12-13, the Brits on the Lake Classic Motoring Revival (above) will once again take place in Port Perry, Ontario, an excellent venue for a show that appeals to all ages and both sexes.
Two weeks later, August 26, the 1000 Islands International Rally/Tour, open to all makes and models of cars and motorcycles, will depart from various “Start Points” around the Great Lakes region, and converge on the Thousand Islands section of the St. Lawrence River.
From September 6-11, the club is organizing a trip to the Goodwood Revival in England, and anyone wishing to go along must book their first-come, first-served tickets with the club by April 30.
The final event of the season is Burlwood’s October 7 Lindsay to Brighton Run from the club’s headquarters in the former, through three counties and 100 miles of blazing fall foliage to Dougall’s on the Bay in Brighton.
