Brooklands Museum will be open again on New Year’s Day in 2010 for the largest New Year’s classic car gathering in the region so if you’re not nursing too sore a head from the night before then please come along. The bar and restaurants will be open for the Museum’s traditional turkey-free New Year’s Day lunches and snacks.
All pre-1973 cars, bikes and commercial vehicles, and pre-booked club groups, are welcome through the Campbell Gate on the (B374) Brooklands Road – and all occupants of pre-1973 vehicles will enjoy a £1 discount.
If you just want to come and look at this wonderful collection of pre–1973 vehicles, as well as the rest of the Museum and its exhibits, there will be additional parking in The Heights off Wellington Way.
Expect anything from veteran cars to Hot Rods to classic bikes – that’s the joy of this event – you just don’t know what is going to turn up!
The Museum opens at 10am, so organizers suggest arriving early to get a good spot. For more information, visit www.brooklandsmuseum.com or contact Donna Hopton at [email protected] or 01932 857 381, extension 253.
