The Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts of the Northwest (SOVREN) recently announced that the July 1-3, 2000 running of the Pacific Northwest Historics at Seattle International Raceway will salute Alfa Romeo as its featured marque. The month of July is promised to be an Alfisti Festival starting with the Pacific Northwest Historics, then Zupan’s Historics Races at Portland International Raceway on July 7th, 8th and 9th. To follow, the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club of Washington will host a Track Day at Seattle International Raceway, coupled with an array of other activities. Then to wrap up the festivities, the Alfa Romeo Owners Club of Oregon will be celebrating their 30th birthday by hosting the Alfa Romeo National convention July 19-23, 2000. Some of the events will include tours through the Northwest on exquisite roads and a Track Day at Portland International Raceway.
