Mecum Kissimmee 2016, the world’s largest collector-car and Road Art auction, scheduled for January 15-24 at Osceola Heritage Park in Jupiter, Florida, will feature an impressive selection of some of Ferrari’s finest road cars. The quartet includes a 1967 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta (above), a 1973 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a 1967 330 GTC and a 1974 Dino 246 GTS, each with its own individual appeal.
The 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta, designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, is finished in Grigio Mahmoud over its original Saddle Tan leather interior, and is an example of the first Ferrari GT to be built with independent suspension at all corners. Powered by a 3.3-liter V12 with dual overhead cams and dry sump lubrication, it is a car of the caliber, originality and rarity is seldom offered for public sale.
The yellow 365 GTB/4 Daytona also features a classic body design by Pininfarina and a 4.4-liter double overhead cam V12 driving through a five-speed gearbox.
The 330 GTC is built on the same chassis as the 275 GTB, but with power provided by a 4.0-liter V12 from the 330 GT 2+2. Finished in Rosso Corsa paint and tan interior, this car embodies automotive style and elegance.
The Fly Yellow Dino 246 GTS features a 2.4-liter transverse-mounted Dino V6, five-speed gearbox and four-wheel disc brakes. Fitted with the rare 7.5-inch wide Camagnolo alloy wheels, the car was factory-equipped with wider fender flares to accommodate them. Further, the tan leather interior boasts seats sourced from the 365 GTB Daytona, a rare combination that’s become known as the “Chairs and Flares” package.
