The 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance moves into its fifth year by returning to The Excelsior Commons in Excelsior, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the show’s mission continuing to expand by including specialty car classes and a children’s area. The opportunity to take a ride in a vintage automobile or cruise around Excelsior Bay in a historic wooden boat will also be added to the show’s offerings.
The date for the 2017 event has been changed from what has historically been the first weekend in June, to the end of July, which will allow exhibitors extra time to prepare their cars, boats and motorcycles. Adult tickets have been reduced to $25 per person, and only 4,000 tickets will be sold, but advance tickets can be purchased for $20 per person, online at www.10000lakesconcours.com.
“Our goal has always been to create an event that is not only successful in raising money for charity, but one that gives ticket holders an experience from the moment they walk through the gate until the second they leave.” said J. Marie Fieger, Producer of the 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance. “We believe that the changes we are making for our fifth year will give ticket holders an all-encompassing experience.”
