Each month, I end up reading every word—on both sides of the magazine—at least four times or more. It’s enough to make even the most died-in-the-wool enthusiast feel a bit punchy. During one of these seemingly endless read-throughs this month, I found myself having to question one of my core “pet peeves” of automotive nomenclature.
