Autodromo’s latest timepiece design draws inspiration from dashboard instruments found in Italian sports cars of the late 1950s, highlighted by a fascinating multi-layered dial. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal, the hour indexes are applied to a transparent glass ring, which floats over the colored dial below for a three-dimensional effect. The custom-designed leather strap makes reference to the luxurious interiors of the time. The Autodromo Stradale is powered by a 24-jewel Miyota automatic movement, beautifully finished and displayed behind a sapphire exhibition caseback. As with all Autodromo watches, the Stradale arrives in beautifully conceived packaging evoking the idea of a road trip in Northern Italy circa 1960, complete with vintage-inspired map. Available in thee color combinations: cream dial with brown strap; black dial with burgundy strap; and gray dial with blue strap.
The Autodromo Stradale is available for $875,
