Salon Prive Concours 2012 Information

Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 photoThe 2012 Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance will be held on the grounds of Syon Park in London from 5th-7th September. The September date represents another change for Salon Prive, as 2011 saw the event relocate to Syon House in West London from the Hurlingham Club, in addition to moving forward to June from its traditional July slot.
David Bagley, co-founder of Salon Prive commented, “The move to Syon House in 2011 was a fantastic opportunity to further develop and expand the event, whilst still retaining the exclusive atmosphere and intimacy that we are renowned for. A record number of guests, plus many exciting new brands, resulted in a spectacular occasion that we were all very proud of. Next year, Syon House will commence a programme of major external renovation, so we have moved our dates to later in the summer to allow completion of the work. This move gives us additional time to create an even bigger and better event with some very exciting new developments.”

Salon Prive also announced that Chubb Insurance signed a new three-year sponsorship deal of the Concours, which includes renaming the event to “The Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance at Salon Prive.”
“For the past three years, our sponsorship of the Concours event at Salon Prive has proved to be a perfect partnership for us. We hope to increase this further next year, and look forward to another three successful years supporting what we believe is the finest super car and classic car event in the UK,” said Simon Mobey, European Personal Insurance Manager, Chubb Insurance.
In 2012, The Chubb Insurance Concours will become an ‘Entries Invited’ spectacular. The organisers have revised the entry process for 2012 to enable open entries from interested classic car enthusiasts. Entries will obviously still be of the finest quality and final categories will then be announced by April 2012. Entries can be submitted at www.salonprivelondon.com/concours/register.asp for consideration by the steering panel. All entries must be sent to organizers no later than 6th March 2012.
