A solid international field is set for the debut race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship — the 54th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, which will be held January 30-31, 2016 at the 12-turn, 3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The 54-car field with drivers representing 24 countries serves as the opening race for Daytona Rising, the $400 million grand re-opening of the historic venue. In addition to kicking off the WeatherTech Championship, this year’s race also will open the four-race Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup.
