RM Sotheby’s will hold its biennial Villa Erba sale, this Saturday, May 23, on the shores of Italy’s Lake Como. The event’s public preview will take place Friday May 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed on Saturday by a 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. reception immediately prior to the opening of bidding at 7 p.m.
Among the top lots offered for sale are: a 1952 Ferrari 212 Export Barchetta by Touring (left); a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione by Scagietti; a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Sport Lightweight; a 1955 Austin-Healey 100S; a 1950 Ferrari 195 Inter Berlinetta by Ghia; and a 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale by Bertone.
