I am not politically correct. I have never met anyone in motor racing who is. Motor racing and political correctness do not go together. Motor racing is dangerous, expensive, it uses fossil fuels for fun and it is funded by the tobacco industry. Not much political correctness there.
I have just put a cigarette in my mouth, and I chose to do that. I can do that because I work from home, so I make the rules. I wouldn’t be allowed to smoke in an office, I’d have to join the interesting people huddled outside the building. Been there, done that; not pleasant in January, though the company is always good.
