• The 2013 Donington Historic Festival has been extended from two to three days, following the outstanding success of the international historic motor racing event in its first two years. The Festival will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend, May 3-5, 2013. As noted in our November issue, the Festival will celebrate the career of Ayrton Senna, marking two milestones the Brazilian established at Donington, the 30th anniversary of the first time he ever drove a Formula One car, and the 20th anniversary of his phenomenal display of mastery over the rain in the 1993 European Grand Prix. With wheel-to-wheel racing action from cars of the 1920s right through to the 1980s, the third Donington Historic Festival promises to be bigger, better—and longer—than ever before.
