Though his tragically brief career spanned essentially only the ’60s, Bruce McLaren’s impressive list of accomplishments included a Formula One Driver’s Championship, Can-Am Championship, and victories at LeMans and Sebring, not to mention countless victories as a constructor. This month’s web site was created by the Bruce McLaren Trust and provides an inside look into the life, cars and achievements of one of New Zealand’s greatest sporting legends.
Attributes of this site include a very personal biography, background and history on all McLaren cars (F1, Indy, F2, Can-Am, Road and McLaren-driven Coopers), as well as a photo gallery, free McLaren wallpaper and supporter’s club information. Additionally, the site also includes a list of McLaren-related links that even includes a source for McLaren fiberglass bodywork! This site is a great tribute to one of the ’60s greatest drivers.
