The Can-Am Reunion Dinner scheduled for the Saturday of Monterey Classic Car Week, August 20 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel, has announced the addition of three key Can-Am competitors to its program. They are: Shadow Cars founder and driving force, Don Nichols; the driver who started a record 53 consecutive Can-Am races, Lothar Motschenbacher; and New Zealander Howden Ganley, an F1 veteran who made a single Can-Am start at Riverside in 1971, finishing 3rd for BRM. Each is expected to bring his personal insights to the table as the 50th Anniversary celebration of one of racing’s greatest series continues.
