Mustangs Forever–celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mustang

Few cars have captured the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide like the Ford Mustang. Whether outfitted for performance, luxury or economy, the Mustang, introduced at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, has been a constant part of American pop culture since inception. To honor the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, the Petersen Automotive Museum’s newest exhibit, “Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend,” showcases more than 20 different Mustangs featuring examples of every generation, including celebrity owned cars and factory special edition racecars.
