The Milton Robson Collection of muscle cars and classics will be sold at auction by RM Auctions, to be held in Gainesville, Georgia on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
Well-known by automotive enthusiasts, the Robson Collection is the result of over 25 years of careful and meticulous acquisition by lifelong enthusiast and noted collector, Milton Robson. Spanning a range of marques and eras, the select series of vehicles presents a wide variety of some of the finest and most desirable American automobiles produced. They range from a remarkable collection of Detroit muscle, which combine low-production and ultra-high specifications, through to a series of icons from the fifties, and a superb selection of Henry Ford’s original flathead V8s. A total of 55 vehicles from the collection, along with a range of memorabilia will be offered ‘without reserve’.

The headline attraction for the auction is a trio of Pontiac GTO Judge Convertibles, including a Starlight Black ’69 Judge, one of the most rare and desirable Pontiacs in existence (Est. $750,000 – $1,000,000). It leads a charge of 12 Pontiacs included in the sale. Also on offer, an all-original 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko/SC Sport Coupe, one of the most vaunted vehicles of the muscle era. (Est. $300,000 – $400,000).
Additional sale highlights include: a stunning, one-of-a-kind 1953 Cadillac Eldorado Supercharged Convertible (Est. $450,000 – $650,000); a 1960 Chrysler 300F Four-Speed Convertible, the only factory four-speed, 400 hp convertible in existence and one of the most desirable letter cars of all time (Est. $250,000 – $350,000); and, a top-of-the-line, beautifully-restored 1957 DeSoto Adventurer Convertible (Est. $250,000 – $350,000).
The Milton Robson sale will also present a collection of memorabilia, ranging from various parts and NOS items, through to a child’s pedal car, various Neon signs, a ‘Hot Rod Grille’ Diner and Display, and three large antler chandeliers, measuring roughly 64 inches tall, 63 inches at their base and 23 inches at their top.
