Is there no end to the amazing things to be found on the Web? This month’s featured Web site hails from Japan and is entirely devoted to the construction of historic Formula One cars (and helmets) out of paper!
Whether it be a Lotus 79, an early McLaren M23, or a recent-era BAR Honda, this site offers free (!) downloadable image files that can be printed in color, and then cut and assembled to produce remarkably accurate models of some of history’s most iconic cars. While the vast majority of the site is in Japanese, there is enough use of English to be able to navigate the site and download the necessary files. There are also step-by-step photo pages for the assembly of select cars.
