The Mecum Kansas City 2014 Auction was held December 4-6 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in $8,253,041 in total sales and a sell-through rate of nearly 70 percent. A total of 382 automobiles were purchased during the three-day auction.

A 2005 Ford GT took top honors at the Mecum Kansas City Fall 2014 sale. With 5,631 original miles on its odometer and dressed in White with Blue Le Mans stripes, the modern supercar hammered at $290,000, the highest price ever achieved for a lot offered at a Mecum Kansas City event.

Other notable sales included a resto-modded 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (Lot S169.1) that brought $94,000 and a restored 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible (Lot S66) that changed hands for $85,000.
