Corvettes feature prominently in the more than 130-car Ron McWhorter Collection that is set to cross the block at Mecum Auctions’ November 2 sale in Dallas. All but 10 cars from the collection will be offered at No Reserve.
Among the cars on offer in Dallas will be Corvettes from 1954, 1957, 1960, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1978, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003. In some cases more than one from a given year, for instance he has two 1963s and two 1967s. Pony cars will also enjoy prominence, with Camaros, Mustangs, a ’Cuda and Trans Ams well represented among the offerings.
Doors to Mecum Dallas 2016 will open each day at 8 a.m. with the auction beginning with Road Art at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2 and at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 3-5.
