Dietrich MGTC…in Motion

Dear Editor,
I’d like to add something to Mark Brinker’s article on the Dietrich MGTC (January 2015).

I was lucky enough to win some 8-mm film from the Suzy Dietrich auction a few years ago.  One of the reels has footage from 1952 SCCA Giants Despair Hill Climb, Grand Island GP and 1953 Chanute AFB.  In these scenes the Dietrich MGTC is clearly shown many times and to my knowledge these are the only known movies of the car.  I have posted all the films to my web site etceterini.com so those with an interest please take a look here:
