Over the years, Vintage Racecar has been fortunate to have been able to include the work of talented cutaway artist Shin Yoshikawa in numerous features and Racecar Profiles. Japanese-born Yoshikawa began drawing cars when he was 10 years old, and over the past 50 years has come to be known as one of the finest masters of the art of cutaway drawings. Yoshikawa’s amazing drawings are all done by hand (no computers) and involve countless hours of both drawing and research.
This month’s Web site, features over 50 of Yoshikawa’s drawings including examples of Alfa Romeo, BMW, Lotus, Ferrari, Bugatti, Abarth, Porsche, Lancia, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Austin Healey, Mazda, Nissan/Datsun, and Toyota.
