At the 1968 Paris Motor Show, Alfa Romeo unveiled a stunning concept car known as the Carabo. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Carabo was a revolutionary, wedge-shaped design built on an Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale chassis. Many aspects of the Carabo would be seen again years later in Gandini’s Lamborghini Countach design.
