The Anglo-European Trophy, Brands Hatch, September 14, 1963. Tim Mayer was a very talented young American driver and the brother of Teddy Mayer, who was Bruce McLaren’s partner. Here he is at Druids on his way to a 6th place finish in Ken Tyrrell’s Cooper. Mayer crashed fatally in Australia during the Tasman Series in February 1964.
