The Auctions America Fall Carlisle 2013 sale was held October 3–4 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, resulting in more than $2.8 million in sales and 62% sell-through rate.
Held as part of Carlisle Events’ Fall Carlisle Collector Car Weekend, the two-day Auctions America by RM sale presented more than 250 automobiles joined by a selection of motorcycles and memorabilia. Bidders represented nine countries around the world and 27 states across the United States.
Top sale honors at the 2013 Auctions America Fall Carlisle sale went to a restored and well-equipped 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, selling for $181,500, making it the most valuable vehicle ever sold at any Auctions America Carlisle event. Additional top sellers included a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster featuring a frame-off, Concours quality restoration for $104,500, along with a well-documented, award-winning 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster for $76,000.
