RM Sotheby’s has secured a private Swiss collection of 42 Porsches that will be auctioned “without reserve” across several of its sales this year. The upcoming Paris sale, scheduled for February 8, will offer the 13 cars shown above (Remi Dargegen photo courtesy RM Sotheby’s). Three cars highlighting the grouping are: a one-of-29 1988 Porsche 959 S once owned by California Porsche dealer and racer Vasek Polak that shows only 11,281 miles on its odometer; a delivery mileage 996 GT3 RS; and a one-of-17 black over black 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.6, that produces an estimated 385bhp and has clocked just under 23,000 miles.
The additional 29 vehicles from the collection will be presented at various RM sales around the world during 2017, including the Amelia Island, Monterey and London auctions. RM Sotheby’s Paris auction will be held at Place Vauban immediately after the Festival Automobile International — which runs through February 5 — and coincides with the world-famous Rétromobile week, February 8-12.
