The Petersen Automotive Museum has announced its grand reopening celebration will take place Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the museum on the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax in Los Angeles. As it completes the transformation that places it among the finest automotive museums in the world, The New Petersen seeks to blend cutting-edge interactive technology with rare and historically significant vehicles, maintaining its focus on the art of the automobile while also documenting Southern California cultural milestones. The museum’s complete three-floor re-design features 22 new galleries to complement the building’s stunning new exterior (above).
