The Mecum Seattle 2015 auction held at the CenturyLink Field Event Center last weekend posted more than $9.5 million in sales, headed by a quintet of muscle cars from the John Wickey Collection that brought in a total of $630,000.
The auction’s top seller was a 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T SE that elicited a high bid of $185,000. A true R-Code Challenger with matching-numbers four-speed transmission, the car had been comprehensively restored just last year, and was presented beautifully in Plum Crazy paint.
