The American Le Mans Series has announced that HSR will organize three Historic IMSA GTP races to be held in conjunction with selected ALMS races this year.
Historic IMSA GTP races will be one-hour timed events, with the races to be run the same day as, and just prior to, the ALMS race. This year’s historic events will take part at Sears Point Raceway (July 22), Laguna Seca (Sept. 9) and at the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta (Oct. 6).
According to HSR’s Joe Pendergast, “We look forward to being part of American Le Mans Series weekends at three great racing venues. Race fans love to see our cars on the track, and our race teams enjoy opportunities to showcase their treasured racecars. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
