Auctions America’s 14th annual Fort Lauderdale collector car auction in early April generated $20 million in sales, with the top lot going to a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, which sold for $649,000. Additionally, a 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Restomod raised $25,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

At its Le Mans Classic sale, on July 9, Artcurial Motorcars will offer a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta (#2917GT), which has been in the hands of the present owner some 47 years, and has had just five owners from new. For more details visit www.artcurial.com

Aaron Shelby, grandson of company founder Carroll Shelby, has joined the board of Carroll Shelby International, Inc. In his new role, Mr. Shelby will work directly with Ford Motor Company and help expand CSI globally.
