On his way to his third victory of the 1956 season, at Silverstone’s British Grand Prix, Moss and his Maserati 250F fend off Mike Hawthorn’s Ferrari.

His personal 250F always carried some form of British identification, note the Union Jack “echo” on its nose.
After his original car lost a wheel at Spa in ’56, Moss took over this Maserati 250F from teammate Cesare Perdisa and forged his way back to finish 3rd.
