Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2013 – Auction Results

The Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction 2013 was held September 26-28 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, resulting in more than $32 million in total sales. This year’s results represent a 41% increase from the 2012 event.

Nearly 70,000 were in attendance at the 6th annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction, the largest Barrett-Jackson auction outside of its Scottsdale event with a record-breaking 657 consignments. This year’s sale celebrated American cars such as Lincolns, Shelbys and Corvettes including Rick Hendrick’s pair of 1963 Chevrolet Corvettes that sold well (Lot #716 – $106,400 and Lot #716.1 – $110,00), the 1931 Lincoln Model K Convertible that brought $352,000 and the 1967 Shelby GT500E at $242,000. Yet, the top result at the 2013 Las Vegas sale went to an Italian marque – the 1967 Ferrari 330GTC that sold for $495,000.

Also adding to the celebration was Lot #689 1999 Chevrolet Suburban from “The Sopranos” Seasons 1-4 that brought $110,000. Barrett-Jackson will also be offering the late James Gandolfini’s personal 1972 Oldsmobile 442 convertible at the Scottsdale event January 12-19, 2014.

“Results from the Las Vegas auction demonstrate that the collector car market is incredibly strong within all segments of the hobby,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO, Barrett-Jackson. “In addition to the impressive sales numbers, Barrett-Jackson continues to set the trend in the collector car market by providing incredible vehicles to car enthusiasts and continues to give all audiences compelling charitable moments, celebrity appearances and activities for everyone.”
