SCD has several very good photographers. It has one artist: Julien Mahiels.
As soon as I opened my newsletter e-mail and saw the 917K streaking away at an angle from behind the flowers, I knew it was Julien’s image and that I was in for a treat.
Superb and evocative pictures, but . . . if only they had expanded captions!
Yes very nice photos, wish there were more of the 50`s drum brake class, great cars in that class, needed a few more of the very rare Alfa Romeo 3000 Disco Vilante
Mr. Mahiels is indeed a superb photographer. His b/w of the C-type with the sun rays is superlative. Such a shame that he allowed his fixation on the big sports prototypes to preclude what appears to have been some very interesting machinery in the other classes.
